SANGASU AGRO INDUSTRIES SAS (Sang'Agri)

With technical mentorship of MINADER, we trade in Palm oil, Kernel oil and Palm Kernel Cake. Owning over 3000 hectares of leased palm plantations, we work with smallholders in the palm industry to build capacity. Our livestock division raises pork and  poultry which are fed by feed manufactured by our feed factory called Pang’Agri Meal PC-90. With collaboration from PECA S.A, we are carrying out a long term project to build a 35T/D palm oil refinery in (Ombe IZ) Limbe. Our main partners are PAMOL, CDC, SOGESCOL-CAM and palm farmers under UNEXPALM. Our company is in the process of obtaining ISO 14001-2015 environmental compliance certification with SGS Cameroon S.A.

Commercialisation of Crude Palm Oil for household consumption.

Palm Oil is the stable fat for almost all Cameroonian delicacies; ranging from Okok, Koki,Eru,Taro, Achu,Sanga, etc.

Our palm falms produce mainly tenera and dura species – with distinct fat content and taste; this advantage has led us to offer a constitent supply of quality palm oil to the local market. Our flagship jewel « Esin’or » is available at our sister shops (Kend’s Distribution), supermarkets and daily markets in Cameroon.

The perculiarities of Esin’or are its purity and unadulteration based on the following premises:

  1. Most artisanal palm oil extraction processes involve using alot of water to cook the palm nuts thus altering the content of the finish product.
  2. The lack of standardised filtering and quality control systems in place by some producers to ensure inpurities are removed from the palm oil.
  3. Lastly, the inadequete or lack of palm tracing led us to champion the cause of rigously ensuring that all our raw maerials are sourced from reputable suppliers that do not harm the environment and its people.

Infact, our processes are compliant with ISO-14001-2015 Standards that ensures the environment is protected in the entire production cycle.

Smallholders Capacity Building

Smallholders optimization scheme is the idea behind our vision for Palm exploration. We own Palm Plantations in Ndian, Meme,Manyu divisions in the SW region and in the Littoral and South regions. This vision permits us to optimise

Sang’Agri operates storage tanks for Palm oil. This is to bridge the gap between production cycles and stabilise demand.

We aim to refine Palm oil thus the need to consildate all existing factors that affect demand and supply.

We incorporate smallholder farmers to our supply chain. By offering research palm seeds, advance payment and micro loans; smallholders’ livelihoods have been improved. Most impotantly, we buy their products and ensure they are up to standards before selling(and pay them in advance).

The Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD) has been providing research palm seed for our leased plantations and our partners. This ensures that we meet up with our economic sustainabilty, social and environmental obligations by offering seedlings to smallholders with deffered payment terms.

We offer our partners up to 20% down payment for seddling with very long and soft repayments plans. This ensures that we receive 100% of their raw materials that secures our supplychain and makes us consitent to our customers.

Our Animal feed made from palm kernel cake (Pang’Agri Meal PC-90) is supplied to our piggeries and other customers. To ensure we are compliant with ISO-14001 2015 environmental standards, we have requested certification from ANOR Cameroon as our feed is being tested by Agro Labo and Services Sarl in Douala.

Producing our own feed gives us a competitive edge in the market for pork and chicken. We own just two poultries that produce flesh chicken of Rhode Island Red and Bahma breeds.

The poultries is simply a testament to our expertise as they are not for sale- we simply offer to our partners, employees, customers and humanitarian donations.

In a nutshell, Sang’Agri is here to stabilise food supply to our people, creating jobs while preserving the environment. Stay tuned for eventual exploits in the Agro-Pastoral sphere.
